ARTibarn – Most of the workshops are moving to their new home this year, into a building that is being renovated just for them. As you can guess from its very telltale name, the ARTibarn will house a most diverse array of arts’n’crafts workhops. Let us introduce you our ARTibarn, the home of creative and artistic activities! 

At O.Z.O.R.A. Festival you can find several workshops to get inspired by and create a whole new world of different objects, which can be colorful, very useful in our everyday lives or even modern and extremely artistic.

:: art of USABILITY ::

PHILOSOPHY  |  At the festival we are passionate about raising environmental awareness and focusing on the creative ways of reusing, redesigning and rethinking the use of “waste” materials in a way that is practical, beautiful and proactive in its environmentally conscious approach. The aim of recycling is to remodel and transform man-made waste materials into things that will help reduce the use of natural materials. To extend the life cycle and usability of products to conserve the Earth’s resources and reduce the amount of waste going back into nature.

ACTION  |  We honor the “upcycling” of waste materials and we investigate many creative ways of reusing them while also highlighting the additional environmental value. Based on this attitude there is no waste, there are only materials! Come and get inspired by the ways to modify and build such structures and objects, learn how to ‘re-art’.

:: art of TRADITIONs ::

PHILOSOPHY  |  How to tame or domesticate materials through traditional techniques to give them an artistic value? Our humanity has always been interested in the idea of how to “tame” different materials to create decorative, useful tools or household objects focused on function. This practice has been refined, saturated with artistic content and lots of professional experience throughout the thousands of years it has existed. The subject of our ancient tradition-based workshops centered round the main materials and substances is to conjure up and represent the craft activities connecting our everyday lives and naturally modern conditions. Creating fantastic handmade and artistic attires,costume accessories and supplies play an important role in the traditional psychedelic goa culture.

ACTION  |  Learn the properties and ‘personality’ of these various natural materials and get inspired by the most useful techniques, which is a treasure of knowledge accumulated over time.

:: art of DECORATION ::

PHILOSOPHY  | Signals surround us everywhere in our environment as part of our lives. We see, use, wear them on our bodies, jewels, clothes and belongings consciously or unconsciously. Psychedelic and tribal decoration art is a kind of integrated coding system or a particular visual language that often contains universal symbols and individual marks which touch more than the spiritual mind.

It vibrates and the energy you release is creating your reality.

ACTION  | To create ornaments at all levels is an in-depth work and a relaxed pastime which is also a form of meditation. It may express moods, feelings and realize forces that belong to you. Get inspired by different cultic symbols and approaches and create your own magical ones.
