A wonderful journey from Israel to the Netherlands

O.Z.O.R.A. Festival’s One Day Tour started in India. In July the Ozorian Spirit went to Israel and a week later to Amsterdam, Netherlands. The second part of the O.Z.O.R.A. Festival ‘One Day’ series started at 1am on Saturday, June 8th. The little over half-day-long Open Air party took place in a beautiful valley much like Ozora, near Kibbutz Farod, Israel, North.
The event-organizing Groove Attack team really gave it their best: wonderful deco, good sound system, great bar and shops were all there to please the more than 4000 partygoers. And they also gave it their best in turn: when we, the Ozora Team arrived at the scene, we could barely believe our eyes seeing the big, separated area behind the stage. The Groove Attack guys told us that it was indeed the camping site. Camping at a 15-hour party? What for? “Just wait and see”, smiled our hosts. And as it soon turned out: just one hour after the opening of the gates, a camp of hundreds of tents had been set up, which made us feel like we were at our Ozora home even more.

We had no complaints about the line-up either: we could experience how our Isratrancer sisters and brothers entertain and are entertained… But all of you out there who could not be at the party for some reason, you shouldn’t  have any heartaches: at Ozora, besides the Peaking Goddess Collective, Master Margherita will also play at the Chill Out stage, and Ajja will have a separate live act at the Main Stage, and will also perform with Cosmosis with their shared project. Justin Chaos, Dr. Space, Symbolic, Ace Ventura will play at the Main Stage, NaTi, and surprise Groove Attack-artists will perform their show at Pumpui also.

We are grateful to the Groove Attack team and naturally every participant, for this exceptional party!

O.Z.O.R.A. Festival spent one day in Amsterdam also, and what a day that was!

The venue was the famous Melkweg which had a superb sound system and great lightning, which, combined with the efforts of Trixx deco team, left the place looking seriously out of this world.

Then the music worked the rest with amazing sets, special thanks go to Celli Earthling for a last minute replacement of Tristan who couldn’t make it because of personal issues. The house was fully packed with beautiful, happy people who left the event with a big smile on their faces. Basically a massive success of a night which we’ll, no doubt, like to repeat.
A huge thank you goes to the Bumsies… and the rest of the Amsterdam scene for the love and support.

See you on the trancefloor – see you at the O.Z.O.R.A. Festival!

Justin Chaos

The Groove Attack guys have an exceptional knack for hospitality. The Ozora Team, led by Wegha and Justin Chaos, arrived in Tel-Aviv on Thursday evening from various points of the world to probably the best place for a nighttime gathering. After being spoiled to the core with all kinds of goodness, we agreed to head north to the One Day in Israel site at dawn, instead of taking a rest. Topping a flight with a long drive is truly an exhausting venture, but just as we were about to give into the tiredness, in the wonderful Israeli sunrise, our hosts stopped at a motel by the road where coffee and refreshments awaited us. And also a really special surprise: the Peaking Goddess Collective – Ajja, Dymons, Master Margherita and Pearce aka Flooting Grooves! The joy we felt wiped out all thoughts of being tired in an instant and getting to the spectacular location we spent a truly pleasant and edifying day chilling and talking. Amongst others, it turned out that apart from Ajja, no one from the Peaking had been to Ozora yet, but are eagerly looking forward to this summer’s gig. We also found out that the two old friends, Ajja and Justin Chaos both have deep philosophy running through their veins, their impromptu lecture bridging topics from Osho to Buddha. Then we witnessed Ajja, already aware that he is a great polyhistor, using his own  software for the controller. So, we could say that preparations for the night were idyllic and then crowned by a dinner of matchless pickled, spicy hot vegetables and the best tender roast lamb we had ever had in our life.
