Alternate remedies: Crystal healing
HEALING AT O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 – There are lots of various healing techniques and methods that you’ll find at O.Z.O.R.A. 2016, where you can also try our therapists’ services. The following introduction is about crystal healing by Gábor Polzovits.
– What would you tell a ‘traveler from a distant land’ who came to you exhausted (and hurt) about the crystal healing method?
– Crystal healing works many ways. If you are exhausted, just lie on the massage bed, and let yourself become relaxed and recharged by the 90-min session. You do not have to do anything. If you’re hurt, let me know, what you feel, how did it happen, or how long have you been in this unbalanced state? (If you have a bone broken, first get a cast, after this crystal therapy can help your bones and tissues regenerate. Also try to look at your injury as a possibility for yourself to become even better than before, this attitude can help you heal and regenerate even faster for the better.)
– What’s going to happen? What do you base your choice of treatment on?
– Crystal therapy has several methods. On Ozora festival grounds I usually give a 90-minute general treatment, which helps you get back to your balanced state of mind, soul and body. You lie on the massage bed and have crystals placed on your body on several points. The crystals’ definite and steady energy patterns recalibrate your energy levels and patterns. The healer helps the process with energetic work to facilitate the change easier and faster. Based on what you may specifically need, focused attention and crystal usage is applied. I also work with angelic energies, so the process is helped with their wisdom and knowledge, so you are surrounded by a group of healing helpers.
– How did you get in contact with this healing method, what made you choose and stick to it?
– 4 years ago I was invited to a crystal conference. I did not really know what this was all about. When I arrived, I saw the whole place was filled with crystals everywhere. I had been learning some energy therapy by then back then, and was already sensitive to different astral energies. So when I arrived, I felt intensive high vibration all over the place. After I started a crystal-healing course and found it suited me perfectly. Since then I keep expanding my knowledge in different methods of using crystals for healing.
– How long have you been learning this method? What level are you on?
– I cannot explain levels in crystal healing easily, so here’s a bit about how I think of this: I started to learn crystal healing 4 years ago. There are schools for this, you can always gain more and more knowledge. I think the more you know, the more you are able to combine this technique with others. I combine crystal treatment with angelic energies, energy techniques (combination of intuitive and ancient techniques for energy control within and outside of the body), guiding in meditation (which I do as a regular program at one of the well-known spiritual facilities), healing energy-field work and so on. I think that crystal healing has unlimited possibilities and options, it is all about the facilitator.
– What is your perspective on the healer-patient relationship?
– A healer is a helper for a person who needs attention. So this way the helper needs to provide security to the patient. With wisdom, honesty, being straight and careful, a patient can share his/her deepest problems that need to be solved. This way a healer gains much intimate information about a person. Also as we continuously work on developing our senses, we may know even more from the person through attunement, and then themselves. Such information is also very delicate and needs extra attention from the helper, which ones can be shared, and which should not be. So, for me the whole session with a client is something that is only his/hers and no one else’s: their programs and difficulties are their own tasks to work on, and must be kept a secret. As I also teach others, many times I talk about exemplary transformations of my clients. I always do this without any names, or if some detail is obviously connected to a known person, I change the details.
Clients usually come back for advice continuously. If someone lacks self-confidence and they want answers for all their daily problems, we should help them on their way so they can solve their problems by themselves without being continuously dependent on a counselor. So emotionally it can be tough at the beginning to transform the needy clients to acting ones.
Also: more people, more variety, so everyone is unique, and needs different attention. Some people are very emotional – some are not like that at all.
An emotional personality approached with more mental questions, or vice versa can expand their view of the world. By this method, they gain insights and sometimes new worlds open up for them, so transformation can occur with the help of a more complete human being.
So in short, many times a healer gets to know information about the visitors, which is quite delicate, and as such needs special care.
– What kind of relationships form during the therapy?
– Many people come back after a treatment happy and in balance. Sometimes they ask me what they can do for me to express their gratitude. Sometimes they find me over facebook after the festival to ask more questions or to share their processes. Many of them come back during the next festival, because they liked it. With Hungarians we usually keep good connections. They also come to have more sessions and visit me at the programs I hold. I meet with all kinds of beautiful and happy people.
– If you have already been at Ozora, in your opinion, how does healing fit in with the essence of the festival?
– People come form all around the globe, and they like to find new or unknown solutions for their needs. The participating healers are there to help/recharge/refresh them. As Ozora festival is very open-minded and takes care of the environment and health in general, healers like us fit in the picture of the Magic Garden very much. Also with the many lectures and workshops we hold.
– A personal question: which programs do you like to participate in in your free time at the festival? What are your expectations from Ozora?
– I like to go to workshops, handcrafting and learning new techniques. I also like the atmosphere at the Magic Garden, that place is my home at the festival. I also like the market area to look for new things to wear or take home as decoration. I like the music up at the Dagon Nest and many of the random jams. Also at Artibarn I can spend the whole week. Of course I take a big journey to all the festival’s sites, so I can see everything.
I do not have expectations, and every year I am surprised by the new developments carried out by the organizers. I’m very happy to participate at this beautiful festival, which is really like paradise, thank you all!
