– What were some of the key events that got you involved in psytrance?
– We came from a completely different scene, hard rock, heavy metal and so then in 2005 by chance we ran into our first underground psy trance party in Italy remaining affected to the point we have reached so far.
– How was your alterego born?
– After two years of participation in various events in central and northern Italy our musical and organizational project was born in 2007.
– Musically speaking, have there been any unusual inspirations?
– As we said before, coming from a totally different scene, we are stimulated by various genres such as hard rock, psychedelic rock with some tendency towards metal old school and 90’s sound in general…
– Your most ‘psychedelic’ or life-changing experience so far?
– The adrenaline of our first illegal party.
– Have you experienced any noticeable changes in the scene since you became a part of it?
– Since the beginning psytrance has branched into many subgenres, but the strength of this music is that it evolves keeping pace with the advancement of technology.
– Who do you think are the most cutting-edge newest sound makers in the scene?
– Electrypnose is for sure one of the most imaginative and innovative artists in recent times, we must also remember other artists such as Fagin’s Reject, Evp, Ajja, Dust , Hypogeo and many more … Fortunately, the scene is launching several young artists.
– What are some of the greatest challenges you face? What are the rewards?
– Definitely making our sound known around the world, and our satisfaction is to see the progress made during these years.
– If it wasn’t psytrance, what would it be? What is ‘just a perfect day’ in your version?
– Still playing guitar and bass somewhere in a friend’s garage.
– Which one of your releases/tracks are the most characteristic of your sounds or stand the closest to you for some reason?
– “Saikro & N.e.s. – No Rules” (VA Inner Frequencies Vol.2) represent our rock side and inspired a new project on our label.
– What are you working on at present? Upcoming?
– We are currently working on different releases and at the same time we are working on the third edition of INNER FREQUENCIES, our summer gathering in Slovenia, next to the Italian border. Stay tuned!
