Reinventing Fabric: Krisz’s Bag
By ANGÉLA THIESZ –
The sling bag described below can also be used as a waist bag, but it lies on your back so smoothly that it’s almost like you’re not carrying anything.
Start out with: 36-52 thin, non-stretch 1,5-6 meters of twisted strip thread, preferably in pairs, so that you can make a symmetric object.
We tie the longest thread pair together with a double knot and fasten the other threads in pairs to it at their knotted ends.
We separate the sides and braid them both down, parallel with the main thread pair.
We loop the braided bunch round and round, using all the strands to their maximum length.
P.S. Looping is the 90 degree version of hand knitting, where we pull back the previous strands with the one following it… You have to keep the order of the strands. We open up the ends that are running out and weave them on to the longer strand next to it, this is how we can use up all our strands.
We can also knot down the unnecessary thread pairs in one row when we’ve reached the size we want.
We loop the 6-8 long strands we are left with, which will make the ‘bag animal’s’ tail, its strap, that is.
We tie the last four strands back to the opening of the bag, and we’re ready to head out with it into the sunny world.

Our Nature Is Nature
Written by Blaze So here’s the switch: a small, microscopic organism brings the whole world to a grinding halt. Huge factories are frozen mid-production, our highways empty. People duck and cover into isolation. Now, nature has shown, with a mere flick of a wrist, who has the upper hand. When I first heard, in secondary […]
There is no separation, except in our minds…
By ESZTER ANDRADI We all probably heard the famous sentences, which are cited so often that they’ve almost become cliches in different spiritual practices and also in the psytrance scene: We are all one. We are all that is. The meaning behind these words start to loosen after they are repeated too many times and […]
