If you search for what the Saturn – Pluto conjunction brings us in 2019 and 2020, you can find phrases like “exploring the deepest shadow”, “problem areas in the process”, “face hardship”… This effect has been in action since a year ago and the peak is coming now in January 2020.

The conjunction of the 2 Karma Lords will perfect at 23 degrees of Capricorn on January 12, 2020. This will mean the midpoint of a big journey when the 2 planets arrive exactly next to each other.

This is a very rare and important aspect, which has been unfolding throughout the whole year of 2019. Big cycles always bring big changes, even though our “red buttons” are pushed. If we are listening, and watching, the events from above, we can reach radical transformations in ourselves and therefore in our lives as well. This transit is a long-lasting one, and is working from the background. The effect will end on the 31st of January in 2021. It is a really special event, happening only every 28-29 years.

The previous conjunction unfolded through Libra and moved into Scorpio, whose ruler is Pluto. The current conjunction will be mostly happening in Capricorn, which is a Saturnian sign. This means that the Lord of Time and Karma, Saturn is at home, working smoothly. Pluto is a slow, radical changer, it takes him 248 years to orbit the Sun, and he usually stays from twelve to thirty-two years in a zodiac sign. In the Scythian-Greek mythology he is Hades, the King of the Underworld. He represents our personal depths – our underworld: the ability and power to reach radical transformation. This is now related to TIME and Karma (Saturn). Structures need to undergo the test of time…

Both Planets were retrograde for a while, which made their influence moderate, hidden and slower, but deeper. The Saturn retrograde began on April 29 and ended on September 18. It brought us the opportunity to start rising and growing into adults. Meanwhile it was the phase of procrastinating (time).

The Pluto retrograde started on April 24 at 23° Capricorn and ended on October 3 at 20° Capricorn. The major influence of the Pluto retrograde meant serious business again. This transit is a regular cycle, lasting five months every year, during the opposition to the Sun. Its influence means a time of reflection about power and control in our life.

It could/can be very tough and even painful to experience the resonance that the two Karma Lords are circulating around us. To see and face our hidden parts and fears, to sort out difficult situations, relationship matters or financial hardship… all these could have appeared and pushed us back or even to the ground. But the point is, actually, to get the point! What lies behind the events? This period wanted to show us how we can transcend ourselves. If we see why a matter is arriving in our life, we can also overcome it. Problems show us our weakest points, where we need to change our thinking and attitude. Most of the time, just by changing our POINT OF VIEW helps us surrender, accept, go with a flow and then reach relief.

All surgeries result in some kind of pain while you’re healing! And that’s the point: we can heal ourselves and change karmic cycles. If we would like to be happier throughout our lives, we need to cut off many ingrained beliefs and attitudes. If we don’t want to stumble on the same stone, we need to learn how to avoid that stone. By changing our approach or something else? Find the basic obstacles you created for yourself just to feel that you are not able to/not enough to reach something or get something done. Find the purpose of these planets and their conjunction, what do they want to show you this year?

There are different phases of knowledge. First we realize, then we decide to use/do/change, then we practice. Even if the knowledge is already “ours”, we need to understand and feel it with our heart too. We can reprogram our way of thinking, first changing the words and sentences we use. Our words materialize our thoughts, and give them physical shape, resonate with them. These energies circulate around us, and this is what attracts the reflection from the outer world. Change your attitude, change your words and create the YOU. Recognize what belongs to you, and what’s only an outer ideal, push or fear. Separate this thought from your own beliefs. Nurture your inner child, and let you rule you! Grown up, wise, but innocent in your heart like a child.

The effect and energy of this aspect is here anyway, we can choose to use it wisely, instead of suffering from it. The next phase will be about implementing the lessons in our everyday life physically. This is alchemy: turn your ‘problems’ and complaints into Gold.
