World Gratitude and Peace Day – One Planet, One Love!

Yesterday saw millions of children, young people and green-conscious citizens of the world pour into streets of cities and towns across the globe, in one of the most monumental youth-lead climate change protests we have yet witnessed. Early reports say this meant an estimated 1,4 million demonstrators in Germany, 400,000 across Australia, 100,000’s in cities like London and New York alone. It was a Friday 4 Future that no one can ignore, justly so, since there is ‘No Planet B’, as one of the climate change movement’s mottos states.

Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old Swedish environmental activist, who calls her autism a superpower, which she undoubtedly has, singlehandedly ignited the climate change strikes when in August 2018 she skipped school one Friday to demonstrate outside the Swedish parliament, calling for stronger climate action and making a stand against world leaders’ lack of action on the climate crisis. The seed she planted then is the action taking place now, in the 24th hour, although the scientific discovery of climate change dates back to early 19th century and evidence of human involvement in it has been increasingly piling up ever since.

We are now finally and globally experiencing a milestone moment on some timeline of beneficial human progress. The first steps may have been realizing how materialistic greed and fear-fed dividedness only serve to harm the living beings of this planet, and we are in growing numbers more and more aware of what ‘love is all we need’ signifies, the love of all that is of Mother Earth, and our magnificent mothership herself.

The flower children protested for peace and love, and the next generations have been learning about the vital importance of gratitude and caring for all that we’ve taken for granted throughout our industrial, economic and technological evolutions, all that we had been conditioned to be blind to or ignore. We are realizing that above all, our unity in diversity is the answer. Armed with the powers of informedness and compassion, the 21st century seems to be bringing ‘the change we wish to see in the world’, the only home we are all citizens of. We cannot ‘unsee’ or ‘unfeel’ any longer, that we are all part of a single living-breathing entity, one single species of life endangered by itself.

“Right now we are the ones who are making a difference. If no one else will take action, then we will. We demand a safe future. Is that really too much to ask?” Greta said in NY yesterday, urging immediate action, rightfully so. And more importantly, young demonstrators chanted: “You had a future, and so should we. We vote next.”

And how comforting it is to hear those words, how grateful we should be that Our Children are proving to be the greatest power that humankind has to survive as Gaia, because as Isaac Asimov (Foundation’s Edge, 1982) fictionalized what is essentially truer than any of the manipulative facts governments might want to brain-wash their citizens into self-destructive compliance with, is that we have the ability to form group consciousness, one extended to the fauna and flora of our planet, including inanimate matter. We are a super-organism together.

On this World Gratitude Day, which is also the International Day of Peace, and concludes with Earthdance Peace Parties all around the globe tonight, experience the convergence of goodness that we, beings of both light and darkness, are capable of and desperately need to tip the balance in favor of living the life we dream of. A life where we do not support harming our fellow creatures, the destruction of our nature and our planet, and through lifestyle and mindset changes no longer serve leaderships rotting from feudal obsessions and imposing on us farcical beliefs to divide and control us, in order to feed their self-serving megalomanias.

The Earthdance Prayer for Peace conveys the message for the eternal now that does have a future:

We are one global family
All colors, All races,
One world united.
We dance for peace and the healing of our planet Earth
Peace for all nations.
Peace for our communities.
And peace within ourselves.
As we join all dance floors
Across the world,
Let us connect heart to heart.
Through our diversity
We recognize Unity.
Through our compassion we recognize Peace.
Our love is the power to transform our world
Let us send it out
NOW…

Make sure yesterday counts, make sure your presence has a meaning, makes sure you fulfill the potentials of your existence. Identify something you are grateful for each day, express your gratitude and turn it into action.

As for tonight, check the event times and join the global Prayer for Peace wherever you are here

And remember always:

“Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.” /Ryunosuke Satoro/

Our Nature Is Nature

Written by Blaze So here’s the switch: a small, microscopic organism brings the whole world to a grinding halt. Huge factories are frozen  mid-production, our highways empty. There is no separation, except in our minds…

By ESZTER ANDRADI We all probably heard the famous sentences, which are cited so often that they’ve almost become cliches in different spiritual practices and also in the psytrance scene: We are all one. We are all that is. The meaning behind these words start to loosen after they are repeated too many times and […]
