Mercury was retrograde between July 26 – August 18, in  the fire-sign Leo and water-sign Scorpio. This is the planet of thinking and the mind, affecting everyday routines, transportation, communication and electric devices. Mercury = Hermes was in Greek myths the winged messenger god. When he turns retrograde, everything slows down a bit, routines and getting things done may require repeated kicks. He can bring delays and errors in electric devices or in any actions.

This retrograde period is now over, so we’re finally getting the support to move forward. It requires a few days to regulate its orbit and then we’ll be good to go. Delays, frustrations, confusions will soon find resolutions.

One of the most supportive trines of the year was on Sunday, and the effect is realizable for several days before and after the event: Jupiter trines Neptune.

Jupiter is the planet of luck, higher thinking, abstract mind. Jupiter inspires us to grow, expand and take risks. Neptune affects dreams and illusions, he is a nautical planet, just as his glyph shows it too: the trident of Poseidon, God of the Seas. In metaphysics water represents emotions. Neptune is the higher octave of planet Venus, but he influences love and beauty in a different way.

This Water trine gives us the opportunity to understand our dreams better, we can go deeper with release and peace. But be careful, Jupiter expands and Neptune dissolves limits. It can cause us also to go deeper into illusions or any addictions. Neptune is spirituality, Jupiter is belief. It’s important to be aware of the emotional dynamics of spirituality now, because how we feel influences what we believe in.

The trine already occurred on Dec 2, 2017 and May 25, 2018, so it is not new for us at all. Take a look back at what kind of life events you had around those dates and act differently. If there is a chance to redo or rethink something, then take it and go for it!

Yesterday, August 20, was the first day of Sun trine Saturn in Capricorn. For one and a half weeks we have the opportunity to clean out our wardrobes, physically and in our heads as well. Remove the skeletons and tidy up! The trine is a fiery aspect and it gives us a positive push. With Mercury retrograde there is a double supportive effect to start organizing our lives.

From today, August 21, until September 1 it’s Venus square Pluto in Capricorn.

Venus in Libra is about harmony in Love, in Sociality, in femininity-related topics. Pluto in Capricorn is the path and karma, karmic wounds. There is a chance that some unexpected or buried themes will surface, from our path, or we can feel disorders in our relationships, love or in any kinds of relations. The right thing to do is not to overrate anything that’s coming back now, or seems to be brand new. Just let go and stay grounded. We will have the chance to see clearly what has to stay and what has to go.

On the same day – 21.08 – Sun trines Uranus in Taurus. Until August 31 this transit will support us to stay grounded as well. This week Sun is entering earthy Virgo, which means the end of the heat and summer, and we are slowly entering autumn here in Europe. We will feel a cooling energy in our everyday routines as well. 

We arrived into the last phase of summer, but we can still enjoy the excellent weather at nights. Don’t miss the opportunity to go out into nature and smile back at the stars!
