Every year has a ruling planet. 2017 was the year of the Sun – new beginnings. 2018 is ruled by Venus, the planet of love, beauty, harmony, arts and sensuality.

2018 is the year of polarity, by adding all digits together it is a 11/2 Universal Year. 2017 (1 Universal Year) was about rebirth, new beginnings and action. We are now at the middle of the Year, and can take a look back, what we’ve reached until now, and what we can expect in the next 6 months. The foundational energy for the 11 is the 2, which is all about love, relating to others, partnership, patience and being supportive. 11 is a master number, it is a fuel for the year 2018, because it carries a higher frequency. This energy is pushing us into a deeper self-actualization and self-realization. These processes are often not comfortable experiences, to expand and evolve ourselves we need outer events, often dramas.

The overall mission during this 11/2 Universal Year is to work together in harmony, balance and mutual respect. And how beautiful this is combined with the energy that Venus represents!

Venus is the 2^nd planet away from the Sun. Venus is the Goddess of Love. In astrology, Venus has dual rulership over Libra (cardinal air sign) and Taurus (fixed earth sign). As a result, Venus represents two main areas of our life: love and money. As an “inner planet”, she embodies our inner power, individual personality and our self-expression. Personal (inner planets) like Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars influence our everyday life, mood and habits because their orbits are the closest to the Sun (our inner self) and to the Earth, of course. Radiance of these planets reach us in a more direct way. (The “outer planets” are: Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto. They are slow-moving planets; they are responsible for shaping the bigger trends in our lives. In fact, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto orbit the Sun so slowly that they affect entire generations.)

Due to Venus basically representing attraction, (how we attract things or how we are attracted to anything), after we built a new base in 2017, this year is about filling it up with elements of the ‘new us’. We can find this year easier  and what makes us really happy. Now we are able to realize what relations and harmony truly means to us much more. We are all different, and the world’s pressure with the right/wrong determinations confuse us every day. We’ve lost connection to the ‘real us’, to our inner core. If someone is on the way of introspection, has been already working on this fundamental question for many years. Who I am? It is hard to identify ourselves in this world today. What are the real needs? What are our real desires?

Venus represents love and attraction; she is changing zodiac signs every 4-5 weeks. On the 13^th of June Venus entered fiery Leo. It is heating up our way of love and attraction. Leo loves fame and attention, this transit can bring personal pleasures and expressions of our personal creativity. This can bring materialized wealth for us as well!

On Sunday Venus was opposite Mars, the planet of strength, of willpower, courage and leadership. Mars represents our desire and drive – how we assert ourselves in the world. Add all ingredients: we have the chance now to find the real connections to ourselves first, then to others and to the world.

A Venus and Mars opposition (until 26^th of June) gets our feminine and masculine side inspired. This transit stimulates the closed (feminine) and related (masculine)inner self. An opposition is always a very active transit between planets. It is like a mirroring energy of the two, of what the given planets represent.

The Sun is wandering now along the Milky Way – the Way of Gods. The Milky way is the centre of our galaxy, it always represents initiation. If a planet is transiting the Milky Way, it is like a transmitter – transformer, we realize the initiation through the energies of the given celestial body. We are abler to overcome the everyday routines, habits, and the gate of perception and intuition gets activated. We can deal with higher energies, and implement them easier in our lives. We can let go off the old patterns, and our inner self can get elevated.

It opens out into our re-cognition of the multi-dimensional nature of existence, as represented by our orbit around the Galactic Centre, heart of the Milky Way. When the last five degrees of Sagittarius are stimulated by transiting planets, a process of awakening is initiated. The arrow of the centaur points ‘beyond what we know’, and at the same time refer us symbolically to ‘what we have always known’ in our inner depths. These intimations have a strong ‘felt sense’ but are not easily verbalised or quantified.”
