Cooking Grove: Community kitchen area
The growing popularity of the Magic Garden warrants a better and easier supply of foods for the good folk of the festival.A nice breakfast, something to snack on during breaks at the workshops or lectures, a filling soup before the night gets started, we will provide the tools for all occasions.
This year the equipment at hand is going to expand, the nice looking country style oven some of you might have already used is joined by a hand crafted three-piece “rocket stove” to sweeten the deal for you! It’s not only going to look great, the stuff coming out of it is going to leave you with a nice taste in your mouth. Regarding comfort, the grove will have its seatings installed, so you can eat those tasty bits in a magically atmospheric bubble. But without further ado, let’s hear it from Fáni, the head of the community kitchen how he envisions his part of the Magic Garden:
“It’s done! That’s what we like to hear coming out of the kitchen. When my grandmother chipped off the corner of the hot cake right out of the oven. I kept blowing it to cool it down. It burned my palms but was well worth it.
We were kids then, and as I lean against the hot wall of the furnace now, I’m being thrown back into childhood dreams, dazed by the sweet smell of ‘kalach’.
A garden, therein a grove, and in that grove the sheepherder is leaning on his staff and baa-ing, while the sheep talk. In the garden the flowers tell tales of whale-dreams, and the whales dream of us in their slumber.
And I’m so glad that someone dreamt of the ‘kalach’, the pea soup and the poppy seed pasta. The pancake, the chapati, the freshly baked salty-buttered bread, and that a great many people have already dreamt tastes of a thousand colors here.
Dreams, chapatis, whales, gardens, the dazing smell of the ‘kalach’: I’ll mold all of them into the dough, and I’ll watch as it’s getting baked in the furnace. It’s done.”

Our Nature Is Nature
Written by Blaze So here’s the switch: a small, microscopic organism brings the whole world to a grinding halt. Huge factories are frozen mid-production, our highways empty. People duck and cover into isolation. Now, nature has shown, with a mere flick of a wrist, who has the upper hand. When I first heard, in secondary […]
There is no separation, except in our minds…
By ESZTER ANDRADI We all probably heard the famous sentences, which are cited so often that they’ve almost become cliches in different spiritual practices and also in the psytrance scene: We are all one. We are all that is. The meaning behind these words start to loosen after they are repeated too many times and […]
