OPEN CALL for Participation in Making the Magic at O.Z.O.R.A. Festival 2015

It all began with the Pyramid. In 2010 a few youngsters started jamming, doing arts and crafts and yoga around the reed-thatched building on the hilltop. Then others joined them.

Since then this area has grown into an entity of its own, packed full of diverse locations that blend perfectly into the overall festival. This space was collectively called the Magic Garden for a long time (and many still call it by this name among themselves), but it didn’t take us long to realize that this expression is in reality true for the entire territory of the festival.

After all, the Ozorian Village truly is an alternative universe where we can spend ‘nearly never enough’ time living, loving and doing various activities in the midst of paradise-like landscapes and trance-inducing soundscapes.

And besides the Main Stage, Chill Dome, Pumpui and the Dragon Nest, we are also welcomed by the creative and creating community of the ARTibarn, the lively playground of the Circus, the intellectual realms of the Chambok House, the enticing smells and flavours coming from the Cooking Grove’s beehive oven and stoves, the spiritual alcoves of the Dragon Agora, the Pyramid’s bodymind space and the alternative realities of the art performances.

This year the gates to this world are opening even wider through the 2015 Open Call for Participation with the magic that your inborn wizard or wizardess holds.
Anyone who performs, juggles, crafts, holds lectures, heals, teaches can add more magic to our wondrous world.

All you have to do is take a few minutes to carefully fill out the application form of your choice. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate, write to magicgarden@ozorafestival.eu . Submission deadline for the Open Call: April 1, 2015.

DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately we know well enough that we will not be able to give all applicants a chance to participate with their talents, skills, projects but we will definitely do our best to select the most exciting, original and amazing proposals (of CREATORS, PERFORMERS and CREATIVE SPIRITS) to be part of the 2015 Magic Garden Program.

Listen to radiOzora’s show A Kind of Magic Vol.1 – Everything But The Music w/ CSABA MATA, the heart and soul of Chambok House, talking about the beginnings, the day-to-day realities and his visions of the upcoming year.
